ACF China began in late 2002, as a
sourcing project starting with a few photos, a write-up
on a personal homepage and a strong passion for Chinese
antiques, furnitures and Chinese cultural products.
ACF China was born when the homepage generate enough
interest for emails to begin coming in from overseas
individuals wishing to purchase antique Chinese furniture
for their home and asking for assistance. By early
2003, this short sourcing project had found its first
wholesale customer and shipped its first container.
Today, ACF services business customers in North America,
Europe and Asia. Both the
ACF China Co along
with Millstone
Trading
is part of the New Trade Group Holdings Ltd.

inventories of more than 100 vendors when filling
our customers' orders. We carry only a minimal physical
inventory, thereby freeing us up to offer our customers
the best product at the best prices available, regardless
of where it comes from.

best of East & West. ACF is run by seasoned
foreigners living in China. China's business environment
is distinct unto itself and requires a sophisticated
first hand knowledge of how that system works in
order to succeed there. Conversely, doing business
outside of China requires an intimate understanding
of how foreigners operate and what their needs are.
Having already gone through this steep learning
curve and having had years of business experience
in both environments, the principals of MT provide

Roger
Schwendeman,
Founder & Managing Director
Coming from an unusual hybrid of business, fine
art and information technologies, Roger is the
right-brained passion for ACF's products and
the left-brain drive for its proprietary systems.
Roger has a comprehensive perspective on the
industry, having traveled extensively throughout
China and SE Asia. Having lived and worked in
China for more then ten years in 1997, he has
first hand knowledge of where to source top-quality
product. He has also lived and worked in such
diverse environments as New York, Beijing, Shanghai,
Kuala Lumpor, Warsaw and Bangkok which enabled
him along the way to gain critical insights
into the many different business practices,
societies, and cultures needed to function effectively
in an international arena.
Roger is a Mandarin Chinese speaker.

Paul
Nicholson ,
Director
of Finance
Born in Manchester in the U.K.,
Paul holds in B.A. in Economics and an MBA from
Manchester University. He started his career
in merchant banking before moving into the private
sector in general management roles for various
industries as well as forming his own company
in the UK. After being in retirement for seven
years, he arrived in China in 2000 and set up
his own company which was subsequently sold
to the local partners. He has also worked as
a consultant for foreign companies doing business
here in China.
