Custom Work

Cusom work is one of the most extremely challenging of our services and requires time, patience and due dilligence. With custom work, the issue is rarely¨can they do it/reproduce it/make it¨ - they almost always can. The issue is, can they do it to a standard, price and quality level we can accept AND can they do it consistantly!

Types of Custom Work

There are four types of custom work we are able to offer (listed by level of complexity):

  1. One-off items/Samples - these are items which are produced in single quanties.
  2. Custom Built - items which are custom made but in multiple quanties.
  3. Custom restoration - restored according to your specific requirements.
  4. Modified/Customized/Enhanced - Items which have been significantly modified and/or enhanced.

Considerations

  1. Overall Appearance of the piece:
  1. Scheduling: Such custom work naturally requires additional time and expense, which needs to be included in the planning of your shipment.
  2. Quality - Specify Quality level desired along with acceptable tolerance levels QC - Clearly state any special needs or important things about the piece to be built.

Limitations

With years of experience with custom work, we understand the unique challenges presented working in this environment and therefore maintain strict guidelines on custom work and as well as realistic limitations on what we can be held responsible for.
