Scheduling & Timing

:!: IMPORTANT We understand the unique challenges presented working in this environment and therefore maintain strict guidelines on scheduling and as well as realistic limitations on what we can be held responsible for (such as delays caused by holidays). The easiest way to delay your shipment is to not get back to us on time. One of the biggest problems is delays in communications. Its vital that customers reply to communications as well as acknowledge receipt of information in a timely basis. Also keep in mind, email is not a 100% reliable form of communication. If in doubt pick up the phone and call us, especially if the issue at hand is time sensitive.

General information

Scheduling for orders

For your first order, we recommend that you allocate additional extra-time needed to understand your specific needs, preferences and other requirements. Additional orders will typically then process a bit faster. Also, scheduling depends on the specific product and/or services mix. Remember when mix & matching services your scheduling must reflect this. This which means a single custom built piece could potentially elongate your order schedule by 30 or more days even though the other items are ready to ship.

  • Logistics It is essential to allocate adequate time for logistics tasks.
  • Banking Banking is a slow process in China and you must plan for additional time to be spent on banking & payments.

  • order_cycle Typical order cycle tends to look like this.

I won’t need my container for another two months, so why start the process now?

A large portion of the items we source are one of a kind, and the availability of others is unpredictable. Many of our largest customers keep money on account with us so that we can put deposits on these sorts of items as we find them. Starting your order early gives you these same advantages. As we are out sourcing for one order, we can keep our eyes open for special items you want. Then, when we get to the normal start time for your order, we will begin sourcing the more readily available items.
