Retouching photos of even low to moderate quality requires a graphic artists expert touch. Moving large furniture pieces for photography often requires a heavy-lifters and several days of a valued staff members time in a dusty warehouse (under varying weather conditions). Downloading, uploading, resizing are all time and bandwidth-consuming task. We hope our valued customers can appreciate how much work goes into take even the most basic quality photos.
These are product shots displayed in our printed and/or online reference catalogue. They vary in clarity and quality. Occasionally we find there are customers who would like digital copies of these photos to supplement their own sale materials. Please let us know in advance if you have this need so we may prepare you a cd. In circumstances where it is impractical to upload photos we do charge for postage and handling.
Note that ACF catalogue photos are watermarked and we do charge a small administration fee for re-processing watermarked images. Should you require unwatermarked photos please inquire.
Warehouse quality photos are Internet ready for online sales of your products via your website, eBay, customer mailings, etc. These are typically “clean” photos of “reasonable quality” taken in the warehouse with basic white, grey or brown backgrounds. These are not professional print-quality photos however we find they are useful for a wide range of purposes. Not all service packages include warehouse photos and we may not automatically take them unless specify agreed upon and requested in advance. Please let us know before placing your order. ACF will typically provide up between four to six images for larger pieces and up to four images per small pieces. Non-bundled prices are nominal and priced per individual item (not per photo). In circumstances where it is impractical to upload photos we do charge for postage and handling.
For customers with specify quality control agreements we will take QC photos for your approval. This often occurs on multiple occasions . It is vital that you take the time to carefully review these photos each time you receive them.
Snapshots are take when either sourcing the product or buying product. Sometimes these photos are dark, taken at odd angles or simply unclear. Sourcing photos are for reference use only.
- Design photos- with set up environment and lighting. With an extra charge.
- Composited Images: Multiple product shots composited into one attractive image.
When photos appear “shiny” this is a direct of flash photography and not the actual appearance of the item. Some photos may be dark - unfortunately these warehouses are not very well lit.
