All custom work requires quality_control. On average a minimum of three (normally five or more) QC visits are required to achieve reasonably satisfactory results

• You will be required to review relevant QC Photos and make approvals.
• Specify Quality level along with acceptable tolerance levels

Quality Control (QC) is a more formalized process usually reserved for custom built or manufactured items. There are varying levels of QC, but they all include careful, structured analysis of each item, both pre-production and post-production. Additional services may include measurement of tolerances, materials testing and written reporting. Fees for QC services are determined by the job’s requirements and are usually billed out at a daily rate plus expenses.

This is different then Quality_Assurance which is less thorough process

• What specifically on the product that must QC'ed?
• How technical is is the QC process for this particular product?
• Can you provide a list of the actual QC Responsibilities?
• What is the schedule?
• How often do you feel someone needs to go to the factory?
• How much time do you think they would need to spend there?
• What other responsibilities are required/need?

Note that in this industry 100% QC is not possible.

Note: The process of QC for one-off items is unique in that in addition to controlling quality, other issues much be corrected during the QC process.
