A pair of Qing dynasty Peking glass cobalt overlay water droppers. Of globular form with a wide opening, carved in cobalt blue overlay on a frosted pink ground, the rim and base encircled with a key-fret pattern. Acrobats and dancers are depicted performing various acts along with bats and butterflies. This is an tool of the scholars desk and was used in ink wash and calligraphy paintings.
